Center for Food and Adequate Living Rights

The Center for Food and Adequate Living Rights (CEFROHT), is a human rights not-for-profit organization that applies a human rights-based approach to food, nutrition, trade, and investment systems and its linkage to the right to health and adequate living. CEFROHT was founded in 2018 and registered with the Uganda National NGO Bureau in 2019.

CEFROHT was founded to respond to challenges of inadequate wellbeing resulting from food insecurity and contamination, malnutrition, economic injustices as well as lack of a human rights-based approach to food, health, and trade systems.
