A PLATFORM TO UNIFY STRUGGLES FOR ALL HUMAN RIGHTS

The Centre for Social Development (CSD) is a secular non-profit development organization headquartered in Imphal, the capital city of the Indian state of Manipur.

It has its members from various ethnic groups, who are the bona fide residents of Manipur.

CSD has been facilitating the development activities managed by people’s organizations, including women, church, and village development committees.

For a decade, the organization focused on the challenges of development, drug, and HIV/AIDS in Manipur. In the last two years, we have been reaching out in different states of North East India and supporting NGOs to build the capacity of people’s organizations.

We strongly believe that people can build a viable future state through sustained democratic and non-violent processes. We cannot remain silent when the poor people become poorer and exploited and marginalized, economically and politically.
