Convergence malienne contre l'accaparement des terres (CMAT)

 

Convergence is a grouping of organizations of social movements which aims to fight against all forms of land grabbing, including natural resources.
It is made up of five umbrella organizations, namely AOPP, CAD Mali, CNOP, UACDDDD and LJDH.

The objectives are

- Enable victims of expropriations, evictions, land grabbing, knowledge and assert their rights;
- Legally and legitimately stop all forms of eviction and expropriation through violation of rights (human rights, rights to food, etc.);
- Demand compensation for both material and immaterial damage;
- Create structured or unstructured frameworks making operational all actions related to the objectives of the Convergence, including a legal clinic.

 It works since its establishment in 2012
