Ecocene Foundation

The Ecocene Foundation is a centre for advanced studies and a platform for action oriented towards the conception, design, and implementation of processes of socioecological transformation towards sustainability, seeking to influence the global system with its complex interactions, in its multiple scales and dimensions (economic, political, cultural, technological, etc.). It seeks to contribute to systemic societal change for a transition from the Anthropocene to the Ecocene.

The Socio-Eco-Legal Research Team, which is headquartered at the Catholic University of Santa Fe, is dedicated to the study of legal problems from a (socio)ecological approach, understanding the law as a human tool designed to regulate coexistence in the Common Home, seeking to articulate the human and non-human dimensions (for example, social and environmental) understood as interdependent in the planetary ecosystem.
