These acts protect against discrimination based on the following:
- race
- sex
- hetero- or homosexual orientation
- political opinion
- religion
- belief
- disability or chronic illness
- civil status
- age
- nationality
- working hours (full time or part time)
- type of contract (temporary or permanent)
