These acts protect against discrimination based on the following:

• race
• sex
• hetero- or homosexual orientation
• political opinion
• religion
• belief
• disability or chronic illness
• civil status
• age
• nationality
• working hours (full time or part time)
• type of contract (temporary or permanent)
