Independent Food Aid Network

The UK's Independent Food Aid Network (IFAN) supports, connects and advocates on behalf of a growing number of grassroots independent food aid providers. IFAN has been responsible for the identification of at least 929 UK independent food banks as well as for the publication of critical data from independent food banks since the onset of COVID-19.

IFAN plays a key role in advocating for the changes that would reduce the need for food banks on behalf of its member organisations. IFAN’s vision is of a country without the need for emergency food aid and in which good food is accessible to all.
