The pandemic has aggravated crisis situations that many families have been facing and has reinforced the multiple inequalities that affect them. In addition to income poverty, the inequalities caused by racism in the United States have been accentuated. This is why programmes such as Northwest Harvest have been set up to ensure that all people in need receive food and that this food is healthy and of good quality.
